GSRW members hand made these stoneware buttons to commemorate the 1999 Red Wing collectors society national convention

In 1999 Golden State Red Wing produced almost 2000 real stoneware buttons, with hand stamped cobalt blue advertising. Fired to cone 10, 2300øF. Just like they did it in the old days! YES - It is hand made, so it is not perfect! YES - It is fragile, and it will break if dropped. Shown is the 12 step process used to make stoneware with ink stamped advertising.
